I am just about to launch my project at Kickstarter. This project has long been in the making. Writing the book itself, a memoir concerned with a specific period in my life, has progressed well, tho I have reshaped the original vision. Readying he project for Kickstarter has challenged me.
The hardest part has been creating a video. My creaky laptop no longer has a working camera. Neither the laptop. I have had to borrow a machine just to create the vid.
Furthermore, friends, I tried to memorize my spiel, but could not do it without forgetting everything, or stuttering, or just being wooden. This frustrated me. I have never worked with video.
Yesterday, using my son's computer (he's at Anime Boston), I threw away the script and just made my plea. Much better. Now just need to finish up, and post it to Kickstarter. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow.
